I have been a massage therapist for over 20 years and a Reiki Master for nearly as long, 1990.

My mother would tell you I have been doing massage all my life. She had back problems when I was young and she gave birth to twelve children. I am the oldest. I am not sure why, but I would climb on the back of her chair when she sat down and began massage her neck, head and shoulders. I was reinforced for doing this when she calmed down and sometimes fell into sleep.  After several times, I would ask if I could play with her hair to get her sitting. ( the short version)

I have recieved relief myself with massage after an auto accident, a bicycling accident or just a long ride.

I love what I do. After, many years, I have less then 3 people  that have never returned for a second session. 

 

About me. I have enjoyed family two sons and many foster children. All adults now. I love bike rides, walks, hikes in Turkey Run, the Heritage trail and many other places.  Currently, I am single. The year of 2012 has been a year of over ten friends and family leaving this earth for a spiritual world.  I took time to celibrate these lives and time for healing my losses.  My time with young children still helps with this one. Smiles and questions from many nieces and nephews.

My favorite one.. a 7 year old nephew helped me with raking leaves. When he was done, he looked at me and said, " I need a two hour massage". I really chuckle with this one ,as he is small.
